Buy Natural and Specialty Foods at Wholesale Prices!

Associated Buyers, a wholesaler of natural and specialty foods, allows us to buy food at wholesale prices with a minimum order of $300. Every 3 weeks, the class pools together orders, places the order, receives and separates orders, collects money, and charges a 15% fee for the service.

Benefits for families:

  • Great prices on food that they would normally buy (prices well below retail!)
  • No minimum order
  • Supporting the class business
  • Convenience of ordering on Thursday, and having the order ready to be picked up on Tuesday at school

  • Maintain checkbook, make deposits
  • Easy and fun business for students to run
  • Earns money for field trips

How to Place an Order

  • Get a catalog (spares are in the library, or order from us or Associated Buyers--catalogs are $1.50 per month)
  • Write up an order (item#, item name, and extended price)
  • Email it to office@greenvalleyschool, or place order in the co-op envelope on the bulletin board in the coatroom
  • Order must be placed by Thursday morning.
  • Pick up order Tuesday afternoon. Payment is made on delivery.
