LEARNING IS ALWASY IN SEASON
Green Valley School is having a 10-week summer program this year that will begin on Monday, June 10th, 2024 and run through Friday August 16th, 2024 (this leaves a 1 week break before school starts to prepare the classroom for the fall session). Children ages 3 to 6 are welcomed to be part of the summer program.
The children will have circle everyday as part of the daily routine. Children can sing songs, listen to stories, teachers can go over rules and address any concerns. This daily routine benefits everyone and builds a sense of community, so the children can have a good time with little effort. The children will also maintain a flower and vegetable garden, play in the kiddie pool and sprinkler, build in the sand, and take nature walks. Don’t forget the occasional walk to Lang’s for an ice cream.
Cost: The GVS Summer Program will run from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and cost $225 per week ($45 per day). The fee for extra care is $50 per week or $10.00 per day. (Extra care hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.) You may pay by the week for only the weeks that you use.
