Our Teachers are a well-educated, close-knit team who thrive on grace and passion for education, while sharing their excitement for the arts and science. They possess a wide variety of skills and interests that they bring to their classes on a daily basis, such as: drama, music, arts, crafts, foreign language, carpentry, business skills, public speaking, backpacking, cooking, and gardening (to name a few). All of our teachers have at least a bachelor’s degree in their chosen field and are Montessori trained.
Montessori training is a rigorous 1 to 3-year program where teachers learn how to implement a Montessori curriculum, and more importantly how to become keen observers. Even veteran teachers find that they truly know how to teach after taking the Montessori training.
